MRS Nomad S1 D

The MRS Nomad S1 D is the most kayak-resembling model by packraft standards, with both its bow and stern being almost symmetrical. The Nomad is very streamlined, making it fast. It’s particularly suitable for flat water journeys but also performs excellently in rapids. It has a noticeably faster travel speed than the Microraft, for instance, and the attachable larger fin makes paddling even more stable. The seat in this model is positioned in the middle of the raft and is higher than other solo models. The detachable backrest is reinforced with aluminum braces. Tip: For white water, deflate the seat slightly to lower your center of gravity! The spraydeck is comprehensive, and together with the skirt, it’s very waterproof (though not 100%). On calm water and hot summer days, the skirt can be easily removed as most of the splashing water drops on the deck. On warm days, the spraydeck can be rolled entirely to the front (zipper attachment). You can secure your luggage on the bow or stern with straps, and there’s also some storage space under the spraydeck behind the seat. Includes the internal storage system that allows for storing gear inside the packraft when paddling.
